SILVERSTONE

I was track lead for Silverstone International Raceway and we rebuilt it from the ground up. Starting from point cloud data we rebuilt the terrain, all the buildings, all the barriers, fencing, the track surface, replaced all the foliage, signage, and pit areas. Using Turn 10's proprietary Fuel Engine we set up the terrain to take advantage of the power of the Xbox One to do things like blended mow lines, layered materials, real time reflections, and to add some serious depth to the track surface itself. After completion we did a color correction pass, and double checked the accuracy of every item on the track to ensure that this was the closest representation of Silverstone to date.

I helped out to various degrees on several other tracks but most of the work I did was on Bathurst and Test Track. On Bathurst I helped with the barriers, track surface, crowd placement and signage. On Test track I helped with hangar construction and barrier placement. Spa, Alps, and Road Atlanta we worked with the Turn 10 Team to put the finishing touches on the tracks to get them certified.
